The pick-up point of this tour is Zephyros Beach Hotels in Stalis.
The tour begins at the village of Mochos, up in the mountains behind Stalis. We start by cycling on dirt roads, and eventually reach the dam of Aposelemis. We have the chance to visit the historic village of Sfedili, a village that appears and disappears according to the amount of water in the dam. Despite being man-made, the still waters of the dam have already started to form a new aquatic habitat, and attract many different bird species. We ride on through the village of Avdou where we enjoy a coffee break, before the climb back up to Mochos village for lunch. Finally, we enjoy a panoramic view of the North coast and let gravity take us down the mountain to the ending point, Stalis.
