Pick up from: Vasia Ormos Hotel
We start our hike from Kavousi village, in the East of Crete . After an uphill hike of about two hours, we arrive at Kastro (Castle) where we can enjoy a magnificent view. Then we continue on to Mesonas Gorge, a majestic and beautiful gorge, which leads us to the ancient settlement of Azoria. Finally, we will reach the ancient olive tree near Kavousi, which is estimated at being an awe-inspiring 3400 years old. After our hike, we will enjoy a lunch of genuine local Cretan food and have time to swim & relax on the beach.
Approximate return time to your hotel will be around 6pm to 7pm.
